What are Daisy Fays Nurseries’ opening hours?
Daisy Fays Nurseries are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, all 4 seasons of the year. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays.
Where are your nurseries located? Our nurseries are situated across beautiful farm settings in Cornwall, providing a unique outdoor learning experience. You can find us in locations such as Truro and Helston, St. Ives, Falmouth and many more.
What age groups do you cater for? We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years, offering tailored activities and learning opportunities for each developmental stage.

Do you offer settling-in sessions?
Yes, we provide settling-in sessions to help your child adjust to their new environment. These are personalised to suit your child’s needs, ensuring a smooth transition.
How do you communicate with parents?
We keep parents updated through regular verbal reports and updates on pick ups and drop offs, and our Eylog software. For more information on how Eylog works, click here. You can also speak with your child’s key worker at any time.
Curriculum and Activities
- What qualifications do your staff have? Our team comprises highly qualified professionals passionate about early years education. All staff hold relevant childcare qualifications, and many have advanced training in areas such as Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Forest School. All our staff have a good understanding on EYFS method and some of the qualifications our staff fold is QTS, Early Years and Childcare qualification, Paediatric First Aid training and many more! We prioritise continuous professional development to ensure our team remains at the forefront of the best practices in childcare. All employees has an enhance a Disclosure Barrier Service Certificate.

- What is your educational approach? At Daisy Fays, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, enriched by outdoor learning experiences. Our curriculum promotes holistic development, creativity, adventure and independence, enabling your children to settle in quickly and make new friends. Daisy Fays are OFSTED registered and employ a dedicated team who hold a range of qualifications ranging from level 3 to level 6 in Childcare, Early Years Teacher Status, Speech and Language, Forest School, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 or above in Safeguarding. Our team are also DBS checked.

Funding and Fees
- What funding options are available? We accept various government-funded schemes, including:
- 15 hours free childcare for eligible 2-year-olds.
- 30 hours free childcare for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds.
