We are very conveniently located just off the A30. Daisy Fays Nursery at Chiverton Cross is a spacious, bright and inviting nursery registered for 42 children per day, between the ages of 3 months and 5 years.

I have been working for Daisy Fays for over 6 years now and I am now Manager of Chiverton Cross Daisy Fays.

I enjoy all aspects of my job from the organisation to the nurturing of the children whom come through our setting. Watching them progress from Babies to then graduating is such an amazing opportunity for us all and knowing we have given our all to the children in preparation for school is a huge proud moment for me within Daisy Fays.

I love to spend time with my family and our favourite thing to do is to go away (normally in Cornwall) in our newly renovated Motor home!! We love to explore different parts of Cornwall we still haven’t managed to see!! My family all enjoy clay pigeon shooting and my husband shoots professionally- so again we love to go away on little adventures with him and explore!!!

I love to cook for my family and friends and love nothing more than a BBQ with all my family!!!!

I have been at Daisy Fays for almost 4 years. I am now Assistant Manager and Room lead to the happy hens.

I love the age group I lead so much as they begin to further their vocabulary and their little characters begin to shine so much.

I thrive from watching the children progress through the setting and then flourish as they leave for their school journey.

I am a busy mum to three children so at the weekends you will normally find me out and about exploring the beaches of Cornwall. I love a sun lounger and a holiday abroad with all my family making beautiful memories.

Baby & Toddler Room

Here at Chiverton Cross we offer a lovely cosy baby room that has its own separate garden for the babies to explore with confidence.

In our Toddler Room we love to get super messy exploring sensory experiences and mark making with various media and materials.

Pre-Schoolers

As we progress to our preschool room the independence grows and the children thrive with new skills and experiences.

Throughout the rooms we offer café style snack and opportunities for self-serving their meals.

We embrace the importance of our British values ensuring we use our manners, learn to turn take and always being kind and caring with our peers.

A Love of Learning

Our practitioners are always thinking of ways to extend our learning through planning for the interests of our key children.

We have all areas of learning throughout each room and the children love to explore and learn through their own play.

We love to be outside and explore the natural world. Come rain or shine we always use out imagination when self-choosing our own play opportunities.

Book Corner

We have a wonderful book library where children are encouraged to swap and change books freely to share at home with their family. Equally we encourage parents/carers to post those ‘wow’ moments on our online learning journal.

This is available as an app for all parents when they enrol and it is a great form of communication for both parties to ensure we can share these magical moments with one and other.
