I’m Lynn and I’m the Nursery Manager of our setting in Falmouth.
I have worked in childcare for 23 years and have managed Falmouth since 2017.
My role as Nursery Manager is to support the staff, children and parents in our setting and ensure the nursery runs smoothly every day. I support our children with special needs and am also the designated safeguarding lead.
I live with my partner and 2 daughters and in my spare time I like walking my two bulldogs, Quinn and Dave.
I am originally from Ireland so like to visit my family there as often as possible. My partner is from Newcastle, so we like to also visit there to watch United Whenever they are playing at home.

I’m Carly the Deputy Manager at our Falmouth Nursery.
I have worked in childcare since qualifying in Summer 2001. I have worked with all of our age ranges, starting with babies all the way through to our Pre-schoolers.
I am currently the Toddler room lead and I enjoy watching the children gain confidence with their speech, their physical abilities and engaging in fun/messy activities that inspire their wider play.
The other part of my role is to support our Manager with the day to day running of our setting- spending time with the other team members and children and building relationships with our parents/carers.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my husband and our extended family. We enjoy exploring our beautiful Cornish coast and countryside.

Our thoughtfully designed spaces cater to every stage of your child’s development: from a recently renovated, bright, and welcoming baby room to our airy toddler space with access to the garden, each area is tailored to foster exploration, creativity, and learning. The journey culminates in our preschool, where our passionate early years teachers prepare children for their next steps with engaging, age-appropriate activities and outdoor play opportunities, including a mud kitchen and vegetable patch.
Our OFSTED-registered team consists of passionate professionals who are fully DBS-checked and paediatric first-aid trained. With expertise in early years education, they are dedicated to creating a secure and supportive environment where children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Together, we ensure every child feels valued and ready to take their first steps in learning – like a family.

I couldn’t recommend Daisy Fays Falmouth enough to anybody that wants to send their children here. They have such a high standard of care and also making my son feel safe and content. My child has come on leaps and bounds since joining Daisy fays in his development his social skills and his confidence he absolutely loves going to nursery. I love how we get told individually everyday when picked up what my child has done in his day what he’s eaten for snack and dinner, they also have a very delicious dinner menu my son was a very picky eater when he started but now he loved his fruit and vegetables. The staff at daisy Fays are the most down to earth people every single one of them, nothing is ever too much trouble. They make you and your child feel so welcome. Me and my child are going to miss them all so much when he moves on to his next chapter. I will be forever grateful for giving my son the best start to his school life.

August 19, 2024I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Daisy Fays Falmouth! My son has only been attending for a little over a month, but the progress he has made is truly remarkable. His speech has improved significantly, and he is so eager and excited every morning to head off to nursery. The staff at Daisy Fays have created such a warm and welcoming environment that my son can't wait to be a part of. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention they provide to him each day. It's clear that they truly care about the well-being and development of each child. I am beyond grateful for the positive impact Daisy Fays Falmouth has had on my son. The management team very supportive. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their little one. I would like to make a special mention of Carly who’s been very attentive with Theo especially for his first day when he was very shy to go in. She comforted him and he’s now more than happy to go into nursery.

Daisy Fays has been the best thing for my son, he has loved it since he started at 9 months old (now nearly 2). The girls that work there are just wonderful, they do so many fun and inventive things with the children, and I know my little one has come on so much thanks to being there. He loves the girls, particularly his key worker Becky who is just AMAZING! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, and am so thankful my little one has been able to go there.

Wonderful safe place, staff are always supportive and friendly. My child loves to go and asks to go everyday. Her development has come on so much since joining. She has many wonderful things to talk about after her day there. Really recommend this lovely place and people.

February 19, 2025My daughter started at Daisy Fays Falmouth when she was one, and is soon leaving to go to primary school aged 4. The quality of the care throughout these key years of development has been wonderful, all thanks to the kind, caring, fun and knowledgeable staff. My daughter has always been excited to go in, and any brief wobbles have been dealt with sensitively and thoughtfully by a team who genuinely have the children’s very best interests at heart. We’d wholeheartedly recommend this nursery!
