Nursery Manager helston
Hi, I’m Eve and I have just started to work with Daisy Fays as Nursery Manager for Helston. My experience of working in Early Years settings started after leaving college, which lead to supervisory and management roles. I then embarked upon teacher training over 15 years ago and taught in Helston primary schools. More recently I was promoted to Assistant Headteacher of a small local school and I have loved every aspect of this journey. After lockdown, I decided to leave the education profession and go back to my family routes of running a pub. I loved doing this for three years but my passion is in education and early years… this is where my heart is.
I feel very passionate about providing the best experiences and environments for children to be able to develop, learn and be happy and am very excited to be a part of the Daisy Fays team opening a beautiful new setting for the families of Helston.
I always appreciate how lucky we are to live in Cornwall with such beautiful walks and coastlines and whenever I can, I spend time walking my dog with family or friends and enjoy a good natter over a cup of coffee.

Our most recently opened nursery – Helston Daisy Fays Nursery – marks a new chapter of nurturing care and early years education in the heart of Cornwall. Located in a beautiful historic building, the nursery blends grand architectural charm with thoughtfully designed spaces for play, learning, and exploration. With a hidden secret garden and vast open areas, it’s a place where children can embrace nature and let their imaginations flourish.
Our farm-themed approach creates a unique environment where creativity, discovery, and care are at the forefront. We celebrate the uniqueness of each child, fostering confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Our OFSTED-registered team consists of passionate professionals who are fully DBS-checked and paediatric first-aid trained. With expertise in early years education, they are dedicated to creating a secure and supportive environment where children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Together, we ensure every child feels valued and ready to take their first steps in learning – like a family.
